In an effort to raise public awareness of multiple sclerosis, I came up with this cross stitch pattern. I found lots of breast cancer awareness cross stitch patterns online, but I didn’t find any Multiple Sclerosis awareness cross stitch pattern. The tutorial for this MS cross stitch project was posted on my friends Magic Imprints blog if you want to have a look at the step by step photos.
Orange Ribbon for Multiple Sclerosis awareness
Awareness ribbons use different colors to represent the meaning behind the ribbon. Different groups have adopted ribbons as symbol of support and awareness and many causes often share each color. Orange ribbon is used for multiple sclerosis awareness as well as for awareness of several other diseases and conditions, such as leukemia awareness, neuropathy pain awareness, chronic pain, lupus awareness, malnutrition awareness, ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), muscular dystrophy, RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome) / CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), kidney cancer, Prader-Willi syndrome as well as by other groups and awareness campaigns such as Animal Cruelty – Animal Welfare, free software awareness/advocacy, Self Injury Awareness Day (SIAD), energy awareness in Nigeria, paramedics support in Argentina etc. Pearl is also used as a color for Multiple Sclerosis awareness ribbon in some regions.
Find a CURE for Multiple Sclerosis cross stitch ribbon pattern
The ‘Find a CURE for Multiple Sclerosis’ cross stitch pattern is simple and easy to make, and it hardly took me 2 days to embroider it. The pattern is available in PDF format and is free to download. You can even use the pattern on a cushion, quilt or even as a wall hanging. I used the breast cancer ribbon pattern at Artecy to come up with this Multiple Sclerosis cross stitch pattern, added some text to it and came up with the Multiple Sclerosis ribbon cross stitch pattern.
Feel free to download it and share it with your friends to show your courage and support. Please do not charge others for the pattern itself. We will also be adding a merchandise section to our website soon where you will be able to shop online for interesting merchandise that you can use at awareness events or give to a special friend or relative who has MS.
