After I was diagnosed with MS in 2011, I started this Society with the hope to create awareness about Multiple Sclerosis, help MS patients in Pakistan deal with the disease and live a normal, productive and fulfilling life. Some of the other aims and objectives of the Society are to support and relieve people affected by Multiple Sclerosis, encourage people living with MS to attain their full potential as members of the society and improve their conditions of life.
The Society has been working day and night to achieve these goals and with the grace of God Almighty, we now have a database of more than 60 patients affected by MS in Pakistan. We are helping patients from cities all over Pakistan including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Kohat, Gujranwala and Sheikhupura. The Society has also been providing medical assistance to deserving patients who cannot afford medical treatment on their own.
World MS Day 2014
As part of the awareness campaign, the Society for Multiple Sclerosis Patients in Pakistan raised awareness on World MS Day on 28 May 2014.
